STEVE ROCKS!!! Steve has some sort of special tool that he makes holes with. It attches to a drill (I think) and now lights can be palced in the ceiling. Better than I imagined. NOTE: If you have never torn down a wall and are considering it, you better find yourself a Super Steve, it got tricky)

How many things can you find wrong with this picture?

The saloon doors, blue carpet, light, and the wall will be a half wall soon. It will open the kitchen and create a breakfast bar.

And the drama begins

It is awfully hard to work over 40 hours a week, rehab an old house, keep the rental house from falling apart, try not to eat out every night, deal with your ADHD teenager, go to belly dance class... I could keep going, but what is the use, there is just no time for anything. I think I could be losing my mind.......

So by Friday night, I SWEAR the blog will be up to date. For now, I have no time, I gotta go.

It is official

Well, we are all said and done. We own our first house.

We found out some interesting things about the house.
- We have a nurse across the street and a doctor and a nurse next door.
- The lady who owned the house past away and was the original owner. Wow, from 1965 until 2008, no one moved out or in completly. 48 years!!!!

Getting Excited

Closing is right around the corner.

Now that I have sucummbed completly to the new house the ideas are gushing out of me. Ihonestly do not know where we will start, except for the obvious walls and floors. I cannot wait to get in there and get a GOOD look around when it is empty. Previously all of the former owners belongings where there.

Justin has even got Steve (Orlando's neighbor/former GM) lined up to help us tear down the wall in the kitchen. Woo-Hoo!!
